support the preschool
At Elim Preschool, we aim to work with parents and community members to create an environment that is most beneficial for your child and encourage parents and community members to help out in any way they can. Our teachers have volunteer sign up sheets in their classrooms for helpers to read to students, serve snacks, play with the children. The list goes on. Our teachers are open to any suggestions you have about how you can become involved in your child's classroom.
If you are unable to help in the school day, there are other areas you can volunteer in at home or after regular hours. In the past, volunteers have helped us with sewing, simple repairs, computer work, cleaning, decoration, cutting and photocopying projects.
We also welcome donations for on-going projects and needs at Elim Preschool. A few of the items we are always in need of are:
· Liquid hand soap
· Plastic spoons for snacks and projects
· Healthy snacks
· Gift certificates of any amount from stores like Target, Party City, Lakeshore Learning.
· Facial tissues
· Craft supplies (paint, crayons, construction paper, etc.)
· Donate your old cell phones and used ink cartridges. We turn them into the Funding Factory for cash.
· Clear contact paper
